Hermosa Beach New Year's Celebration

What's happening at Hermosa Beach Pier Plaza for New Year's Eve 2017.

The Hermosa Beach Chamber of Commerce will host a New Year’s Eve Celebration at Pier Plaza in Hermosa Beach on Saturday, December 31st beginning at 8:00 PM. Lou Giovannetti and His Big Band will be the featured performers. Inspired by Frank Sinatra and Tony Bennett among others, Lou and his 18 piece orchestra will sing the iconic standards of the American big-band. More information about Lou can be found on his website at: www.LouSings.comThe festivities will also include a countdown to the New Year with a video replay of the ball drop in Times Square New York on a 9x12 footvideo screen. The first countdown will take place at 9:00 p.m. for the New Year on the East Coast. The second countdown will take place through a video replay at midnight (local time) as Hermosa Beach rings in the New Year.

Admission is free and the event is open to the public. Attendees are encouraged to come early and take advantage of the many restaurants and bars that Hermosa Beach has to offer. Happy New Year!
