New Year's Day

March 17

St. Patrick's Day

 

Everybody's Irish on St. Paddy's Day, but for a truly great night out, head to local pubs such as Hennessey's, Patrick Malloy's, Kilkenny's, or to the annual bash at Sharkeez. Also, don't miss the St. Patrick's Day Parade and Festival in Hermosa Beach.

May 5

Cinco de Mayo

 

You'll find BBQs, festivals, and street parties going on throughout Hermosa, Manhattan, and Redondo. Check out the annual party on 8th Street in Manhattan, or head to your favorite bar for specials on margaritas and tequila shots.

Memorial Day weekend (May)

Fiesta Hermosa

 

A twice-annual arts and crafts show at the Hermosa Beach pier. Featuring hundreds of artists and crafters, live music, wine and beer tasting, delicious food, and the Kiddie Carnival.

July 4

Independence Day

 

One of the biggest party days of the year in the South Bay. Parties and bar events galore, plus annual happenings such as the Village Runner 5K, fireworks shows at Wilson Park and all along the beach, and of course, the Hermosa Beach Ironman!

July 30 - August 1

International Surf Festival/Six Man Volleyball Tournament

 

Competitions for LACounty lifeguards ,international bodysurfing, surfing, paddleboarding, ocean swim, dory race; also youth swims and paddles. Taking place in Hermosa Beach, Manhattan Beach, and Torrance Beach.

Labor Day weekend (September)
