We are excited to invite you to our FS2 Family Adventure Course taking place Oct. 4-5! For millennia, families passed down survival skills from generation to generation. The FS2 Family Adventure Course works to restore this tradition. This course is a real-life adventure for parents and children and provides a rich opportunity to build a shared love of the outdoors. Activities emphasize discovery and collaboration. The fun activities and skills acquired in this class have fostered a passion for the outdoors and inspired many families to take up camping, hiking and other outdoor adventures.
You and your family will learn how to:
- Use a map & compass
- Track humans & animals
- Identify plants that provide food, medicine & tools
- Find water
- Build shelter
- Signal for help
- Spark a fire
- Practice self-leadership
- Work in teams

After registering, you will receive a welcome packet with instructions on what to bring, location, parking, etc. Course begins Saturday at 8 a.m. and ends Sunday at 1 p.m.

$325 per person for 1-2 people
10% discount for families of 3 or more

Registration deadline is September 19, 2014.
Cancellation policy: Full refund if you cancel by 11:59 p.m. PST, September 1. $25 per person cancellation fee if you cancel between Sept 1 - Sept. 19. No refund will be issued after September 19.
Hands on physical activities include hiking, shelter building, and fire-making - moderate fitness level recommended.
This course is for children 8 and up. Daycare is available for 4-7 years old.
Course will take place at Camp Wrightwood, 1401 Linnett Rd., Wrightwood, CA 92397. You will have the option to sleep in one of the cabins, bring your own tent, or sleep in a shelter you build.
