Come help support an amazing project that brings yoga schools and communities throughout Nairobi, Kenya. Africa Yoga Project uses the power of yoga to empower, educate, elevate and employ individuals in East Africa by supporting economic development and alleviation of poverty by creating a local market for yoga. AYP delivers free yoga teacher training to marginalized youth living in Kenya's informal settlements, creating financial and social empowerment. The populations served by AYP include individuals in special needs schools, jails, orphanages, and HIV/AIDS support groups.  

 

Join Cynthia Whitman as she hosts a fun afternoon of yoga, music, refreshments, and a raffle at her home in Hermosa Beach. 

 

100% of the proceeds go to bringing community yoga classes and teacher trainings to Africa Yoga Project.

 

What to bring: 

$20 for ticket

Mat/towel for yoga on the beach

$1 bills for the raffle
