Waterfront Education Family Paddle Boarding: Friday, February 20, 2015 - 10:00 AM - 11:30 AM

LEAP onto SUPs Pilot program is a collaboration between Waterfront Education and Tarsan Paddle Board Shop. Students will learn stand up paddling (SUP), while exploring the ocean's influence on us and our influence on the ocean. All classes take place in the sheltered King Harbor basin, behind the break wall.
$20 per person includes board rental, lifejacket, paddle board lesson, and an introduction to our local marine environment. Class is open to children over 9 years old, who are proficient swimmers and to younger children with guardians paddling with them. Adult welcome in all SUP classes.

About King Harbor Boating Foundation
Founded in December 2012, our mission aims to promote safe, clean and responsible boating activities, and to foster public interest through community outreach. We endeavor to educate about boating activities and stewardship of our marine environment. We strive to partner with local organizations that support our mission. The Foundation is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization whose work is primarily funded by corporate sponsors, grants and individual donations.
