Swell Magnet Surf Forecast

For Thursday morning the NW wind swell will clock in with chest to shoulder high plus surf, (from that same steep 310 degree angle), for the better West facing beaches.

The conditions look okay with SE/SSE breezes in the 3-5 MPH range until 10AM and 8-10 MPH out of the SW until sundown. The air temp will get up to 70 degrees.

Friday morning we'll see that wind swell drop off to waist to possibly chest high sets for the exposed West facing breaks.

The conditions look fair again with variable breezes out of the East, in the 3-6 MPH range until 11AM and 10-15 MPH out of the SW until sundown. The air temp will get up to 70 degrees.

Saturday morning is looking weak with knee to waist high leftovers at the better breaks. The good news is that the weather looks excellent with an 82 degree scorcher on the sand.

The conditions should be great all day as high pressure anchors in for a day or 2. The air temp will get up to 82 degrees.

Sunday morning looks small again with just knee to waist high dribblers across the board.

The conditions look fair with variable breezes out of the East in the 2-5 MPH range until 11AM and 9-15 MPH out of the SW until sundown. The air temp will get up to 70 degrees.

The current water temps are as follows - Newport 66 degrees, Huntington 70 degrees, the South Bay showed as 68 degrees, Santa Monica 69 degrees and Malibu 64 degrees.
