BLOG: Craft Beer Dinners at Hot's Kitchen & 1321 Downtwon Taproom BistroOne of the better craft beer selections in the South Bay resides just south of Hermosa Pier at Hot’s Kitchen with an average of 40 handles to pour from and styles like Belgian IPAs, English bitters, pilsners, ambers, stouts, and witbiers to name a few. Their small plate, taco-to-the-tenth-degree menu is also one of the reasons to visit Hot’s. Pork, beef, chicken, “ocean”, and exotic style tacos come in all shapes and creative tastes. Hot’s has been running a series of brewery dinners and next week, June 26th, they will pair food with brew from a small, boutique brewery in Salt Lake City called Epic Brewing Co. Visit our blog to find out more about upcoming craft beer dinners at Hot's Kitchen & Downtown Taproom. | PASS ON THE INSIDER Be sure to forward this edition of the S.B. BLOG: Village Runner’s 20th 4th of July 5k in Redondo Beach's Riviera VillageThere are many 4th of July traditions that have taken root here in the South Bay, like the local test that consists of running, paddling and lastly slurping down a domestic six pack of light lager beer. The contest has eloquently been dubbed the Ironman. Other traditions like dressing up in red, white, and blue regalia then meandering down the Strand on a beach cruiser also speak to the core of celebrating the 4th in the South Bay. A more conservative and healthier way to kick off America’s independence is the 20th annual Village Runner 4th of July 5K Run/Community Walk and Firecracker Dash for Kids that kicks off at 8:00 a.m. Click here to learn more about this year's 4th of July 5k. |
