'80s Prom featuring Missing Persons, Gene Loves Jezebel, Tommy Tutone & Dramazone: Thursday, March 25, 2010 - 7:00pm - Close

 BriXton is pulling out all of the stops for an ‘80s themed prom bash featuring live performances by Missing Persons, Tommy Tutone and Gene Loves Jezebel on Thursday, March 25th!

For one night only, the venue will be decorated to transport concert-goers back to 1985 when shoulder pads were large, mullets were all the rage, and hairspray was everything. The night hosts free prom photo sittings & pink corsages, ‘80s memorabilia & accessories, a costume contest for best-dressed couple, and so much more! BriXton bartenders will be serving up spiked punch and drink specials all night long.

Tickets are only $19.80, but all who dress in ‘80s attire get in for just $10.

2nd Annual Clam Chowder Cook-off benefiting the Wellness Community: Saturday, March 27, 2010 - 1:00pm - 4:00pm
Presented By: Redondo Beach Pier Association

Join some of the best chefs in the South Bay as they cook for a cause and cast your vote for the best! The 2nd Annual Clam Chowder Cook-Off will feature individual and professional divisions and entrants will compete in Manhattan or New England clam chowder categories. A panel of judges will blind taste entries and the public will also cast votes. Awards will be given to the Best Individual and Professional, People's Choice Individual and Professional and Team Spirit.

Public Tasting Kits will include five tasting tickets. Proceeds from this event will benefit The Wellness Community South Bay Cities, a local non-profit organization that provides free support services to cancer patients and their families. Attendees will have an opportunity to enter to win a Redondo Beach King Harbor Weekend Getaway!
