Oktoberfest at Alpine Village
It's that time of year again- Oktoberfest! Get your friends together and head out to Alpine Village in Torrance for the South Bay's own Beerfest. Authentic German music and unlimited Liter Steins of delicious German beer will make you feel like you're actually in Bavaria. Dancing on the tables is highly encouraged, and nothing beats the Bratwurst after a few mugs of Hefeweizen. They have Stein Holding contests, the Chicken dance and a sweet Oom Pa Pa band blasting classic German hits you know and love (or will by the end of the night). Check out South Bay Events for FREE ADMISSION coupons!!

Port at Saint Rocke: Saturday, September 20!!
Check out local favorite Port next Saturday, September 20 at Saint Rocke. Port rose from Los Angeles in the early months of 2005 shortly after singer/songwriter Drew Brandmeier completed his solo album, These Things Happen. Having explored the possibilities of a solo project, his interest turned towards forming a full band. The quartet that followed is Drew (guitar and lead vocals), Mike Medeiros (drums and vocals), Patrick Nally (bass and vocals), and Zach Miller (lead guitar). For much more information, head over to the site.
