 1970's Volleyball Tournament!
 Smack Sportswear hosts their annual 70's-themed Volleyball tournament this Saturday, September 27! It's open to everyone: Co-ed teams of 4 play in a round-robin format with levels from beginner to advanced. Teams that go all-out in 70's gear get extra points to start each game! Besides the volleyball, there are all-day drink specials at Sharkeez and a post-party at Sangria. Check-in is at 8th Street in Hermosa Beach. Even if you're just alright at volleyball, the event is a guaranteed blast. By the way, it's supposed to be near 80 degress that day...Check out South Bay Events for details on how to enter the tournament!!
 
  Flock of Seagulls at Brixton: Friday, September 26!!
The ultimate 80's band famous for their one-hit wonder "I Ran (So Far Away)" comes to Brixton on the Redondo Beach Pier this Friday, September 26! Lead singer Mike Score is a former hairdresser but you would never guess that :) Come in your best 80's outfit and rock out to the catchy beats of this group that made it huge for a glorious minute.
