Dance It UP to Present 3rd Annual Hot Ballroom DanceSport Challenge

Dance It UP is pleased to present the 3^rd annual Hot Ballroom DanceSport Challenge, which will take place on May 19, 2019 from 8am - 11pm at the Torrance Marriott Hotel, 3635 Fashion Way, Torrance, CA.

Hot Ballroom DanceSport Challenge is a world class competition open to dancers of all ages and skill levels. Competitors and judges from around the world will be participating. This event is also a National Qualifying Event and World DanceSport Federation event for adults vying to compete at the USA Dance 2020 National DanceSport Championships.

The matinee session will showcase the talents of dancers with ages ranging from 3 to 70 years old. The evening show, which begins at 6pm will bedazzle the audience with championship events, the award-winning Orange County School of the Arts Latin formation team, a world class dance show by Emanuel Valeri and Tania Kehlet, tribute band REM celebrating the music of Freddie Mercury and Queen and a special performance by “Dancing with the Stars Pros,” Anna Trebunskaya and Emmy-nominated choreographer, Dmitry Chaplin.

Dance It UP, whose mission is to develop, promote and maintain the artistry and sport of dance to enhance the well-being and culture of the community is led by Irina Trebunskaya. Irina is a former award-winning professional ballroom dancer, studio owner, teacher, USA dance judge, and seasoned charity organizer. Irina’s passion for dance and helping people thrive using this art form is evident in her work in organizing Hot Ballroom DanceSport Challenge.
