Swell Magnet Surf Forecast

Thursday should see more of the same for the AM, but that already inconsistent NW energy will fade throughout the day. Look for more chest to shoulder high zone sets for the West facing beaches and once again, some of the projection models are calling for slightly larger surf.

Friday the swell will continue to drop off through day. Smaller surf and a high tide of 5.88 feet around 7AM will likely spell disaster for the dawn patrol as all spots will be buried by an excessive amount of water.

Saturday looks to be small and to add insult to injury, the tide will be high again and there's a good chance at seeing some rain. The surf is slated to be no bigger than knee to waist high and will have a difficult time making a showing through the morning high tide hours.

Sunday will be even worse with high tide, low swell, another chance of rain and onshore winds at 5-8 MPH through the day. The conditions will probably be junky, there's a 50% chance of rain and the high air temp will be 61 degrees.

The Current Water Temps are as follows - Newport 61 degrees, Huntington 59 degrees, the South Bay showed as 61 degrees, Santa Monica 59 degrees and Malibu 58 degrees.

Chris looks so much like Steven Tyler, that many people make the mistake of thinking he really is! The band that backs Chris is truly amazing as well, very solid and tight, recreating Aerosmith note for note!





SoCal Rock-n-Blues Dance Party 2010 at the Proud Bird: Friday, November 19, 7:30 pm - 1:00 am

This inaugural event will bring a range of rock and blues performers to the red baron room dance floor at The Proud Bird near LAX on Friday night. The SoCal Rock-n Blues Dance Party 2010 will feature unique regional and international artists that include Blues Diva Ma’Ja, rock trio The Heiz (from Japan), egwb with Legend All-Stars featuring drum master Owen Goldman, Daniel "Young Cat" Hange and more special guests. Celebrity guest DJ Arabian Prince from N.W.A. will be spinning beats between sets. This event will be fun for all types of South Bay music enthusiasts, and a portion of proceeds will benefit The Blues Foundation & Generation Blues, a youth scholarship program.
