Event Description
Welcome to the 2019 Riviera Mexican Grill R-10 Paddleboard Race. This year is the 22nd Annual Race and we look forward to seeing many old faces return to one of the South Bay’s original paddleboard races.
We are once again a part of the International Surf Festival family of events throughout the South Bay. The course will be a water start from Torrance Beach (just south of the main lifeguard tower) out to the R-10 (PV-10) Buoy and back to the beach (beach finish). The course is approximately 7 miles out and back. Paddleboards and SUPs are all invited.
R-10 Information:
The race dates back to 1997 and the tradition continues. Each paddler will receive an Event T-shirt and Breakfast Burrito from the Riv.
All boards are invited - Just make sure you can handle the surf to get out to the start line and the beach finish.
Registration
Online registration: $50 - Event t-shirt guaranteed with early registration! $35 for 17 and Under.
Beach registration: $60 (shirt size is not guaranteed) - Check-in starting at 6:30 am. Race starts at 8 am
