CROWNE PLAZA & S.B.E. PRESENT: A NEIGHBORHOOD TASTING @ SPLASH BISTRO AT THE CROWNE PLAZA REDONDO BEACH AND MARINA HOTEL: THURSDAY NOV. 12: 6 PM TO 9 PM

Join us for an evening of amazing wines paired with delicious food! This November 12th at the Splash Bistro in the Crowne Plaza Hotel, Redondo Beach. Experts from four different wineries will be on hand to fill your glass with delicious wines, featuring tastings of Cabernet, Chardonnay, Merlot and many others. To complement the vintners' selections, Splash Bistro's Head Chef Gary Howard will be serving a huge selection of appetizers, small plates and a dessert carousel. There will also be Spicy Chicken Wings, Little Smokes in BBQ Sauce and many other items- guests will be shown how to pair these great pub foods with the night's excellent wines.

SouthBayEvents.com and the Crowne Plaza Redondo Beach and Marina Hotel/Splash Bistro are teaming up for a great night of wine and food with our friends and neighbors. All this week, we're offering tickets for only $35- but that special rate ends this weekend. For a very unique South Bay experience, this is an event not to be missed!

S.B.E.'S RESTAURANT OF
THE MONTH: SUN & MOON CAFE!

Manhattan Beach's most entertaining sushi spot, Sun & Moon Cafe, is a locals' favorite just steps from the sand. Located at 1131 Manhattan Avenue, this small restaurant has a loyal following who claim it has some of the best sushi in the South Bay.

The menu is comprised of a brave mix of Japanese,Vietnamese and Californian ideas. This little restaurant will change your mind about flavor combinations and charm you with the attentive service and modest prices. Relax over lunch on the comfortable patio or have a fine dinner indoors. Either way, you will be glad you dropped by. Oh, did we mention that the staff regularly convinces customers to attempt a "Beer Funnel" after a meal? For those not familiar with the term, you need to head down and ask the owner, Tommy, in person.

Bring a group or have a guaranteed fun date at this favorite restaurant with a party atmosphere. Check out the Restaurant of the Month page for more details!
